Supporting the Genealogy Library with the interest and encouragement of patrons, helps assure the Library will continue to provide a strong foundation and an extensive catalog for the benefit of all users, both present and future. The Library welcomes your gifts of time and genealogy materials or funds with which to purchase books, equipment and supplies. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and depend upon the generous support of the public to fulfill our mission.
BE A VOLUNTEER
To successfully fulfill our mission and goals, the Genealogy Library relies on volunteers off-site and in the Library. The most needed assistance is volunteering as a staff member in the Library to help researchers. Helping with any of the necessary tasks of operating a library has proven to be a very rewarding volunteer activity and is recommended by our committed team. Come join us – you will benefit. DONATE BOOKS
Thank you for your interest in donating one or more books to the Genealogy Library. Generally, the accession standard is that the donation should be genealogically valuable but our collection also holds many histories, manuals, maps and other related materials. In the event the donation cannot be admitted into the collection, the Genealogy Library will find a good home for the materials. Should you wish, a donation letter for your financial records is offered.
DONATE LOOSE PAPERS
Organized, well-written family history papers in files or binders will be placed into acid-free holders kept on the bookcase shelves. Entry into the Library Catalog will be according to the dominant surnames in the papers. Should the donation be too large for entry into the collection, the donation will be passed along to a receptive archive.

By donating funds to the Genealogy Library, with or without a request for a book title, you are expanding the wealth of resources that may be offered to the community.
